FBCL Is Going Greener

Keep an eye out in the next few weeks as we expand our recycling effort to include glass, plastic and cardboard. We hope to have marked recycling bins throughout the church and any material – other than paper – will be collected by the City of Laurel. We already collect paper in the bin at the back of the church, which is picked up by a separate company. Our paper recycling, which has been ongoing for about a year, pays us for each ton we collect. The money we collect from paper will be going toward purchasing bridges to cross the drainage ditches in the parking lot.
