#1: EASTER SERVICES
April 14th, 7:00 pm, Good Friday services in the Family Life Center (English) and Chapel (Hispanic). A time to sing, pray, and focus on the Cross. In this solemn time together, we will reflect on our need for redemption and Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice. We hope to see you there. Sunday, April 16th, Easter Sunday. We will begin with a sunrise service at the front entrance of this building at 6:30 am. Then we will have our regularly scheduled worship services at 8:00 am, and 10:30 am. Our morning messages will show proofs of the Ressurection. Invite a friend to join you next Sunday morning as we celebrate the resurrected Jesus.
#2: THE LEGACY FUND
There are ministries here at First Baptist Church whose primary purpose is the spread of The Gospel in our community and beyond. The Legacy Fund has been established to ensure that those ministries are funded for both the present and future. Legacy Fund means different things to different people. For us, we want to leave a monetary gift behind each year that will grow over time. The interest from this fund will be applied directly to ministries meeting certain criteria. We are asking each giving unit or person to give an extra $125 this year to mark our 125th anniversary as a church. We’ll add a dollar each year that our church celebrates its anniversary. For more information on the Legacy Fund, including how it will be administered and how to give to this fund, please visit our website at FBCLaurel.com/give.
