#1 – Thank You for Supporting Our Missions Offering
Last month we asked you to prayerfully consider making an offering to the Lottie Moon Missions Offering to help support missionaries around the world. To date, we have received $11,323 of our $12,000 goal. It’s not too late for us to reach that goal. Simply donate online by texting FBCL to 77977 to give through PushPay. Or you can give through an envelope. Either way, please designate any gifts as Lottie Moon Missions Offering.

When you send “FBCL” to 77977 you will receive a one-time reply containing a link to give to First Baptist Church of Laurel (1msg/request). Please be aware that Msg & Data rates may apply. For full Terms & Conditions please visit https://pushpay.com/terms. For the Privacy Policy please visit https://pushpay.com/privacy. For help reply HELP or STOP to cancel.

#2 – Lovin’ Laurel – April 21, 2018
On Saturday, April 21, 2018, we will be hosting a community event in the heart of Laurel at McCullough Field located between 198 and Montgomery Street. We want to show the love of Jesus to our community by discovering the physical and spiritual needs of the residents through a fun and relaxed event. Pastor Brent will be discussing Lovin’ Laurel this Wednesday night at the Member’s Meeting.

#3- MEMBERS MEETING RESCHEDULED – Wednesday at 7:00 pm
Join us in the chapel this Wednesday at 7:00 pm. All members of the church are asked to gather for the quarterly Members Meeting. This is not just another boring meeting looking at bar graphs and budgets. Rather, our Members Meetings are times where we celebrate what God has done and hear from Pastor Brent on the next steps we will be taking to spread the Gospel.

Join us Sunday night at 6:00 pm as Bryan Patrick leads our Sunday evening service in the Chapel.

Bible Study FOR ALL AGES

Pastor Brent’s next book recommendation is “Missions: How the Local Church Goes Global” by Andy Johnson. Available on-line at Christianbook.com or on Amazon.com (Kindle). We will have a discussion group or “Book Club” on the following Sunday evenings at 4:30 pm for anyone reading the book wishing to discuss: February 25th.

Know your New Testament? Come to the church library (Room B101) to answer this question: What are the four gospels and explain what the word “gospel” means.
