#1 – Student Ministry Cake Auction
The Annual Student Ministry Cake Auction will start at 6:00 pm, February 18th in the Family Life Center. All funds raised will support our Student Ministry in their missions efforts and camp expenses. This year we’re attempting to bring 12 students to Central America to serve the poor and broken. We encourage you to give generously to our international missions effort to bring the love and truth of Jesus Christ into communities around the world.

#2 – The Mingling of Souls Marriage Conference
This one-day marriage conference will help you discover God’s good design for relationships from a Biblical perspective. This conference is for those whose marriage may be difficult right now as well as for those whose marriage is good, but they want it to be great. All couples who are married or engaged to be married soon are encouraged to attend. Date: Saturday, March 24, 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. Cost: $40 per couple; childcare is available for an additional $10 per family. We’re looking to support a few couples by offering a scholarship. If you would like to invest in the marriage of a young family with a scholarship, contact Pastor Bryan at bpatrick@fbclaurel.com. To register, go to FBCLaurel.com and look for the Mingling of Souls banner on the homepage.

#3 – Rolling Hills Prayer Meeting
At the January Member’s Meeting, Pastor Brent led us in discussing a possible church planting partnership with Rolling Hills Baptist Church. Our next step in pursuing this opportunity is to commit it to prayer. We’ll gather tonight, 6:00 pm, at Rolling Hills for a prayer meeting with their congregation. Please join us to pray for God’s wisdom and favor in this process. The insert in today’s bulletin gives directions to their church.

LPC Guest Speaker and Baby Bottle Campaign Kickoff

Andrea Capuyan, Executive Director of the Laurel Pregnancy Center, is our guest speaker for Sanctity of Life Sunday. Andrea will share how the Lord is working through LPC to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the clients. You can support the Center by taking a Baby Bottle, filling it with your loose change, and returning it by the end of March.  These funds will make it possible for the Center to provide free services in Jesus’ name.

LOV IN LAUREL – Prayer Walking/Driving
Our next step in preparing for LOV IN LAUREL on April 21st is to begin saturating the neighborhood around McCollough Park with prayer. We would like to accomplish this by asking you to walk through the area and pray while walking. You can also do this safely while driving. Next week we will be assigning streets to cover and giving you information on how to “prayer walk” or “prayer drive.”

If you are either teaching a Bible study, desire to teach in the future, or need to hone your skills this Leadership Lab is for you. Pastor Brent will lead a forty-five minute interactive discussion on leading a study that engages and grows your class closer to Jesus.
