Grief Share Sessions

If you’ve suffered loss in the last six months and need support or could share how the Lord has sustained you through your grief, please consider a 13 week support group at FBCL. Sessions will meet Wednesdays, 6:30 to 8:00 pm. Includes a Bible based workbook and daily devotional guide. Starting on May 23rd. Please call the church office to sign up if interested.

Vacation Bible School Planning Meeting

Everyone interested in VBS this summer is invited to a planning meeting Sunday, May 6th,  after the 10:45 am service. All who are interested can grab some food from the potluck dinner and head to room B108 to hear about all of the VBS excitement. Even if you haven’t signed up to work, we would love to tell you about this program which is aimed at sharing the good news of Christ with children from our church and our neighborhood. Come get involved. VBS June 25-29 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm nightly.

Youth Parent Meeting

There will be a Youth Parent meeting on Wednesday May 9th from 7:00pm to 8:00pm in the Youth Assembly room. If you have a child participating in the FBC Youth program please make a point to attend.

The Courageous Movie Night

Sunday night, June 10th at 6:00 pm, FBC will be presenting the movie “Courageous”. Come enjoy an evening out and be moved by this dynamic feature film. This is a great opportunity to invite a friend to hear the Gospel.

Many of our ministries will be taking a break for the summer. The ESL program will finish on May 16th. Our Power-Up program will be breaking on June 10th for the summer. Our GA and Mission Friends ministries will have their last meeting on June 6th. Please make note of these schedule changes.

We’re asking our members to bring a pot-luck dish to share with our military guests after the 10:45 am service. Bring enough to provide for you and extra for our visitors.
