Pray for the relationships being formed at the "First Friends Breakfast," which is held each Friday morning at the Laurel Denny's for the homeless and vulnerable in the Laurel area. The breakfast and Bible message are sponsored by New Day and includes hosts from a number of different Laurel churches each week. The growing number of participants over the last few years have been able to experience stable friendships and exposure to God's Word.

From Alan Monico
Stefanie K, friend of the Monico’s, is scheduled for a procedure on Wednesday due to a blockage in her leg. She has had several procedures of the same kind for this ailment. Also, someone attempted break into her home, and she no longer feels safe there. Please pray for health and healing as well as her safety and peace of mind.
Rhonda Stewart continues to battle leukemia and just went back to the hospital on Friday. Please pray for her continued healing and for her and her family’s continued strength. They are faithful Christians.
Julie Wilson, a Christian and friend for many years, is battling breast cancer. Please pray for her healing, recovery and continued strength in the Lord.
Stray cat, Alfie, had his toe amputated due to infection. He is being kept in our garage until he heals. He is a sweet soul. Please pray for his recovery and continued safety. It would be great if we could keep him but he is still afraid of people.
Please pray over my health and the decision to begin or not begin Fasenra, a newer biologic drug, for eosinophilic asthma. I am really on the fence, concerned about the long term side effects. My condition (aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease) makes me loose sleep , feel tired very often and get pressure headaches. I needed surgery to remove nasal polyps once per year for the last four years.

Several met in prayer this morning and were encouraged by Pastor Brent to pray for a few specific things.
Pray for our pastors, Pastor Emmanuel, Pastor Brent, Pastor Bryan, Pastor Gus, Pastor Caleb and Pastor Nathan as they prepare to share Jesus at FBCL
Pray also for pastors all over the world, as they prepare their message to share with attendees this week.
Please pray especially for those who will hear the messages; all regular attenders, visitors and those who may be hearing about Jesus for the first time or have maybe heard but did not heed the call.
And finally, please pray for those who will be placing door hangers this week for our church.
